1st Responder Radio Network (1RRN) was formed to act as a mobile forum, a way for it's members to be kept aware of incidents as they occur in our coverage area, via 2-way radios. Our membership consists of Firefighters, EMS, OEM & Haz-Mat Personnel, Police Officers and Dispatchers, etc.

Dear Members,
It is with great excitement that I announce the appointment of Ken Nelson as the new General Manager of the 1st Responder Radio Network. Ken is taking over for Greg Mattes who will be staying involved in our radio group in a limited capacity, but was unavailable to commit the time necessary to manage the system.
In the 'real world' Ken has been in the healthcare management field for over 10 years and is also a member of the Budd Lake (NJ) Volunteer Fire Department, serving a term as the Chief of Department. He is also currently a fire Warden with the New Jersey Forest Fire Service.
I’m very pleased that Ken has accepted my request for him to take on the leadership position with our radio division. I will work with Ken and the management team he assembles over the next few weeks to review the current operation and what opportunities that we have available to us to pursue.
